Why does craft beer taste so much better? A quick rundown: Draft Beer is not pasteurized so it retains its originally intended and wonderful taste. Draft beer isn't sitting on a shelf in bottles which makes it much less prone to oxidization. Speaking of bottles, they are much more susceptible to light which alters the taste, particularly when it comes to hoppy beers. (cough...IPA's)
